Sreenu Vaitla is not doing well after a fight with his wife. There is a talk that he is not happy at the home and is not able to give good movies these days. The other days for not doing well and not getting a hit is that he is not associated with Kona Venkat his favourite assistant.
Kona Venkat is the right write for Srinu Vaitla. After getting separated from Kona, Vaitla could not give good movies to the Industry. Now he is back with Vishnu for a sequel to Dhee. Dhee was a super-duper hit to the industry and people still love the comedy scenes between Vishnu and Sri Hari .
After a brief hiatus, director Sreenu Vaitla is currently busy with an out-and-out comedy entertainer, D&D: Double Dose. Sreenu collaborated with his Dhee hero Vishnu Manchu for D&D and expectations on their latest outing are quite high.
Meanwhile, Sreenu Vaitla revealed that the film has nothing to do with Dhee’s storyline but it will have a few traces of Dhee in terms of its characters and set-up. Sreenu Vaitla promised a hilarious entertainer with his upcoming film and said that he has introspected the mistakes he made in his previous movies and tried to not repeat them in D&D.
Right now there is no update on the D and D. Corona has stalled the shooting of the movie right now. May be next month they will start the shooting. Vishnu and Vaitla are in a severe financial crisis.
Both of them have to give an industry hit to come out of the slump.
