Sajjanar talks to police on lockdown duty

Commissioner of Police Cyberabad, Sajjanar spent time with the field level police officers and supervised their functioning at the check posts on roads for four hours along with frontline officers for four hours. He personally monitored the movement of the vehicles and participated in the checking with other officers.

He visited many places in Kukatpally including KPHB Market Road, JNTU, Forum Mall, Pragathi Nagar and Prashanth Nagar.

Owing to the lockdown call, the Traffic movement has slowed down in the Cyberabad region. This has eventually enabled the Cyberabad Traffic Police (CTP) to keep tab on creating awareness among the citizens in traffic rules to improve road safety.

They have been regularly sensitising the bikers and other motorists on traffic rules. He also urged the people to maintain social distancing and ensure that COVID 19 precautions to ensure their personal safety and the safety of the people.

Commissioner Of Police, Cyberabad Shri VC Sajjanar, IPS., said there is also a need on the part of citizens to maintain self-discipline. Especially the motorists to be self-disciplined and responsible.

We request them to follow the traffic rules strictly even in the lockdown also or face legal consequences. Bikers must always wear good quality helmets instead of low quality, cheap, half helmets.

Cyberabad Traffic Police reiterating the need for following road rules while driving irrespective of lockdown.

CTP has started appreciating those riders (both riders) who are wearing standard helmets. CTP hopes that the citizens continue to obey traffic rules in the good spirit of citizenship and help Police in reducing the road crashes and fatalities on public roads in Cyberabad.
