RGV has released a lot of content on OTT and did not do well. But Ram Gopal Varma is all set to come up with another online platform titled ‘Spark OTT’.
He is releasing his ‘D Company’ in this streaming service on May 15th. While this movie is based on the Mumbai underworld, it is to be seen which hero RGV targets next to make ‘Spark OTT’ work.
RGV is known for controversies and he tried to do it with a streaming service last year and failed. He tried to use some bold content but people did not like it.
Let us wait and see if ‘Spark OTT’ becomes successful or not. RGV popular as Ramu believes that OTT is here to stay and that people in the future will not go to the theatres.
With Corona, the theatres are closed and the audience has no other choice but to go for the OTT content. So Ramu believes that OTT is here to stay.
Ramu also has shot some movies in-house during the first phase of Corona. He has made a film on Corona also. But they could not attract the audience.
But he never goes back now he trying the OTT platform called Spark.
