Vani Devi Surabhi the newly elected MLC today met Speaker Pocharam in the Assembly premises. The car in which she was travelling has hit the Assembly gate and car tyre was busted in the process.
Fortunately Vani Devi was not in the car and it was going for parking. The driver of the car was saved as the air balloon opened when it hit the Assembly gate.
The car and the Assembly gate got damaged in the accident. The police rushed to the accident spot in the Assembly as there was a big bang in the premises.
The police are talking to the driver on the accident. The car hit with a speed of 100 kilometres but no one was injured in the process. The Gate and the car got damaged, while the driver escaped without any injuries.
The accident news is viral on the web and people have started calling Vani Devi. Vani Devi was not in the car when the accident occurred, the police clarified.
There is no clarity if Vani Devi was travelling in her own car or a Government car.
