TRS candidate Surabhi Vani Devi the Daughter of former PM has won the MLC seat of Hyderabad, Mahabunbagar. The BJP lost the sitting seat.
The TRS candidates Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and Vani Devi Surabhi were leading in the two MLC seats and it looks like they are set to win this election.
So far they did not get the required number of votes in the first preference. Now the second preference votes are being counted.
Both the TRS candidates are in the lead even in the count of the second preference votes.
Both Palla and Vanidevi are leading comfortably with the second preference vote.
The ruling TRS leaders are sitting tight and keeping their fingers crossed as to how the result would pan out. Political observers say that since the second preference votes are not against the ruling party’s candidate, they are going to win the election.
