Harish Rao presents a Budget of more than 2 lakh crore

Despite the economic slowdown and poor prospects of receipts from the Centre, Finance Minister T Harish Rao was bold enough to present his jumbo Budget of Rs 2,30825.96 crore for 2021-22 in the Telangana Assembly, which is more than the 2019-20 budget.

-State budget Rs. 2,30,825.96 crores,-Revenue Expenditure Rs. 1,69,383.44 crores,-The fiscal deficit is estimated at Rs. 45,509.60 crores,-Investment cost Rs. 29.046.77 crores.

Rs14800 crore has been allocated for Rythu Bandhu scheme the flag ship welfare program of the KCR Government. 2750 crore for Kalyana laxmi. 25000 crore for agriculture. 11728 crore for pensions.
Despite having Covid conditions the state of Telangana has been able to achieve some progress said Harish Rao the Minister for Finance who has presented the budget for 2021-22.

He started presenting the budget at about 11.30 AM in the Assembly. He attended the Brahmotsavam of Lord Balaji here at the Jubilee Hills Temple and then proceeded to Assembly for the Budget Presentation.

Despite all the adverse conditions the state of Telangana is ahead in anyways he explained. The rural economy supported the state in a big way he said.

When the Nation income got reduced we have made some progress said Harish Rao. We have faced the crisis with a good strategy and are surging forward with all the success he stated.

Green Budget has also been created for the reduction of Global warming in general he said. Even Telangana is number one in terms of funds allocations he explained.
