Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao exercised his franchise in Telangana Graduate MLC Elections today. KTR voted at the Shekpet booth. KTR said that he has saluted to the gas cylinder before coming to the polling booth.
He has suggested all the graduates must come for voting and give their opinion. Dont neglect voting in the name of Sunday. The educated people must vote he requested.
The voting process began at 8 AM and will end at 4 PM. Ranga Reddy is having the highest 1,44,416 voters in the district. Mulugu district is having lesser voters 10,323.
93 candidates are contesting from the Hyderabad MLC seat. More than 70 candidates are there in the fray in the Warangal seat.
Voters need to cast their vote by using the pen given by the polling booth officials. The ballot paper has the photo and name of the contesting candidate.
