Sukumar the ace director of Rangasthalam has earned around Rs 20 crore from Uppena. This is just for encouraging his sisha Buchibabu and getting the right persons for the movie.
Hero being the man from Mega compound has made all the difference for the movie. Vijaya Sethpathi is another added attraction from the song of Devi Sri, Nee kandlu neeli samudram.
One song has done the magic for the film and the rest is history. People like Chiranjeevi talking about the movie also gave it the required momentum after the release.
Even if you work as a director getting 20 crore straight as remuneration is very difficult. But Sukumar got around 20 crore for just being a mentor and he predicted that it is a Rs 100 crore movie.
It gave the required launch to Vaishnav Tej Panja and Kriti Shetty .
It also gave the break to a new director called Buchibabu who is aiming to do a movie with junior NTR.
