Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao launched the Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav here at the Public Gardens in Hyderabad on the eve of 75 years of Independence.
Our Independence movement is a role model for the World KCR said, He hoisted the National Flag here marking the launch of the festival which will continue for the next year.
Mahatma roared like a Lion and got the Independence with his non-violence methods KCR explained. Mahatma Gandhi gave all the momentum to the Independence movement he opined.
KCR reminded of the Dandi yatra which was also achieved in a non -violent method. Telangana will celebrate the Azadi Ka Amrtu Mahotsav for 75 weeks he explained.
The CM was given a guard of honour by the police on the eve of Amrut Mahotsav. The CM suggested that the youth of this generation must know about the history of Independence and the method of Non-violence that Mahatam Gandhi preached us.
The Governor Tamilisai has launched the Amrtu Mahotsav here in Warangal. The festival will continue till August 15 next year that is 2022.
