The BJP and the Congress candidates are yet to come to form in the MLC election. Around two weeks time is left for the polling.
Congress party candidates G Chinna Reddy from Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad constituency and Ramulu Naik from Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda constituency, started their campaign only after the election schedule was announced. There is no proper support from the party as such to the candidates.
Bharatiya Janata Party too is in the same boat with party candidate and sitting MLC N Ramchander Rao largely depending on his being a known face in Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar Graduates MLC constituency. BJP candidate G Premender Reddy too is fighting a lone battle from the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates constituency.
The Telangana Rashtr Samithi on the other hand is surging forward with Ministers and cadre working for the candidates in the districts. The Minister for IT and Industries K Taraka Rama Rao is meeting people from sections of the society at the TRS Bhavan and impressing upon them.
CM KChandrasekhar Rao on the other hand is supervising the things going on from behind. This time he is not taking the election easily, after losing Dubbak to the BJP in the earlier election. It is prestigious for the BJP and also the ruling TRS.
