It looks like Pawan and Mahesh will compete for the next Sankranthi which is 2022.
There was no Star Heroes movies in the 2021 Sankranthi. But next year’s Sankranthi is going to be very interesting.
Power star Pawan Kalyan and superstar Mahesh Babu, are both entering the box office for Sankranthi which can be called the big cinema festival. Mahesh with the combination Director Parashuram are getting ready with ‘Sarkaru Vari Pata’ by Sankranthi by 2022.
Now it has been officially announced that the upcoming period movie in Krish – Pawan combo will be released in the same season.
Against this backdrop, the rivalry between the Mahesh-Pawan films has led to a war of words between their fans and is likely to bring huge openings for both films. In fact so far these two star heroes have competed four times at the box office but never fought at once.
The two films were released a few days apart. In 1999, Mahesh’s debut movie ‘Rajkumarudu’ – Pawan ‘Tammudu’ was released two weeks apart and became a success.
In the year 2000, Mahesh ‘Yuvaraju’ – Pawan ‘Badri’ films came out in a week gap. Mahesh ‘Arjun’ – Pawan ‘Gudumba Shankar’ were released in 2004 in a gap of three weeks. Similarly, if ‘Pokiri’ starring Mahesh Babu was released on April 28, 2006 .. Pawan ‘Bangaram’ came on May 3.
After 16 years, Pawan is going to face a movie with Mahesh at the box office. If not, Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vari Pata’ movie is likely to come on the planned date.
Pawan, on the other hand, has given the green signal to half a dozen films. Even if the shooting of Krish movie is over by then, it will take a lot of time to complete the post-production work.
