No social distancing at the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam

While the Corona is on the rise again across the country, the pilgrims are not following the social distancing rule here at the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam.

Today more than 50000 pilgrims were here at the TTD. They participated in the Rathsapthami program and very few were wearing the masks. No one was maintaining the distance.

They were all looking at the Surya Prabha vahanam on the eve of Rathasaptahmi. The Priests on the Gardu Vahnam were not wearing masks.

TTD Chairman Subba Reddy was also in the main procession and he could see that there was no social distaning in the procession.

The pilgrims were just falling on each other to have a glimpse of the Lord Balaji and also to touch the harathi. The cultural troops were also not having any masks.

Even at the Laddoo counters social distancing is not being followed here. The purohits and the workers carrying the Lords vahanam were also not wearing the masks.

Lord Surya was being worshipped on the Rathasapthami day but no one was taking the Covid precautions. Out of the 50000 pilgrims who were on Tirumala not even 10000 were wearing masks and no one was maintaining the social distance in the line when they were going to the Lord Balajis darshanam in the sanctum sanctorium.
