Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharman has sported grey hair with black stripes here and old and looked old.She was wearing a red saree with a white border and red blouse which was very bright.
With all the confidence she presented the budget and there was very less hungama from the opposition this time. Speaker Om Biral was smiling all the time and the PM Modi was jubilant thumping the desk.
Every bench was covered with a glass frame and the members were wearing masks. Social distancing was observed in the Parliament. Union Minister of state for Finance was sitting by her side.
The Home Minister Shah and Raksha Mantri were sitting in the front row of Nirmala Seetharman. They were seen following the Budget with rapt attention.
The fiscal deficit was pegged at 9.5 percent. The Government will approach the court for around 80000 lakh crore. The revised expenditure was pegged at 34.50 lakh crore.
The gross borrowing is at 12 lakh crore. The states must bring down fiscal deficit to around 3 percent GSDP Nirmala suggested.
