After the great success of iSmart Shankar, Puri Jagannath has purchased some new cars and started the movie called Fighter with Vijay Devarakonda.
He has started his office in Mumbai and is doing the movie in collaboration with Dharma productions of Karan Johar. It is a Pan India movie and Puri is known for completing his movies mostly in 3 months.
But due to Corona the movie was halted and Puri has to start the shoot again. Some portion of the movie demands shooting in America. When the unit was getting ready to go to America the second strain of Covid was reported in Briain.
There is a risk of Corona again. They do not know what to do now. It is like one step forward and two steps backwards for Vijay. Karan Johar is also monitoring the project from time to time.
But he also cannot do anything at this point in time. No one can take the risk with Corona. Right now Vijay is waiting for a super duper hit as his earlier movies bombed a the box office.
So he is now banking on the higher for his future. If Fighter is a hit, Vijay gets more movies. But he has already signed a 100 crore contract with Karan Johar for three movies. One is fighter and the rest of the two are yet to be decided.
