Thirty three farmers died in the agitation due to various reasons. They all died in Delhi while participating in the agitation against the new laws being implemented by the BJP Government at the centre.
The Union Ministers including the Prime Minister Modi argues that they are for the betterment of the farming community. But the communists leaders and chief Ministers Kejriwal and K Chandrasekhar Rao from Telangana stood in support of the farming community saying that they exploit the farmers in a big way in the long run.
KCR the CM even said that he would organise a conclave in the Hyderabad for supporting the farmers cause against the Central Government. While the central Government is planning to stop the agitation, the farmers said that they want a yes or no from the Government and nothing less than that.
The support for the farmers has been coming in the form of food, washing machines and medicine apart from the logistics support. The police have been watching the situation from time to time.
The Minister for Agriculture and also the PM Modi are hopeful that the farmers will understand the real spirit behind the new laws and would stop the agitation. The farmers are being mislead by the vested interest they charged.
