The first result of GHMC elections that is Mehdipatnam division was won by MIM. AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owisi is confident that they will get around 45 seats in the GHMC elections in Hyderabad.
Majid Hussain is the MIM candidate who has won from Mehdipatnam and he was the former Mayor of Hyderabad.
Chaos and confusion is prevailing in the counting booths. The ballots in the boxes are more than the real votes polled in some booths. Arguments between the polling agents of political parties is going on in almost all the booths.
The BJP agents are very unhappy over the way the counting is going on. Some boxes don’t have the seal of the election officers. The counting is going on neck and neck between the BJP and the TRS.
The Congres is also leading in two divisions when the first round of counting was completed. The TRS has won the Mettuguda division.
Congress has won the AS Rao Nagar. TRS has won Yosufguda.The Congress has won from Uppal also.
