The TRS and the BJP cadres clashed in some polling booths. The teachers staged a dharna in some places that their votes have been removed. There were complaints that youth were being turned away by police of one group saying that they don’t have votes.
By and large the polling is peaceful across the city. When it comes to old city the polling is going on at a snails pace. Old aged people and senior citizens are participating in the polling here.
Around eight percent voting was recorded in all by 11 AM. TRS and BJP cadres clashed at Kukatpally saying that the TRS leaders were distributing money openly near the polling booths.
