Cinema theatres will get opened soon. The Government has given some concessions and also waived some tariffs . This has been part fo the GHMC election agenda.
KCR has given several sops to the Cinema industry. After careful consideration of the matter, the Telangana Government hereby decided to permit cinemas / theatres / multiplexes to reopen with upto 50% of their seating capacity in areas outside the containment zones only, with immediate effect.
The management of cinemas / theatres / multiplexes shall ensure that:
(i) All persons, audience, staff, vendors etc., use masks at all times;
(ii) Hand sanitizers are available at entry / exit points and common areas;
(iii) Physical distancing and crowd management measures are followed;
(iv) Sanitization of entire premises particularly common areas shall be done after every
screening;
(v) Temperature setting of all air conditioning devices should be in the range of 24-30o
Celsius. Relative humidity should be in the range of 40-70%. Re-circulation of air
should be avoided and intake of fresh air should be as much as possible.
(vi) Show timings should be staggered to ensure that intervals of different shows do not
occur simultaneously
