Film Heroes Chiranjeevi and Akkineni Nagarjuna today met Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the Cam Office. Earlier when they met they gave help for the flood victims as part of the CM relief fund.
Now they wanted the Government to give incentives and subsidy to the film industry as they were reeling under losses due to the Covid conditions.
KCR assured the heroes that the agenda of giving the concessions would be included in the GHMC manifesto which is to be announced. KCR assured that the people of film industry will get all the help needed from the Government.
The industry which was reeling under losses would be bailed out he assured. Chief secretary Somesh Kumar was also present during the meeting.
Both Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna were happy with the outcome of the meeting. But it has to be seen if the GHMC election code could in the way of the proposed concessions to be given to the Tollywood industry.
Right now some shootings are going on and some more shootings are expected to start next month.
