We are getting four days holidays this month end. November 28 is second Saturday and the next day 29nth is Sunday. Monday the 30th is Gurunanak Jayanthi which is said to be an optional holiday. The next day first of December is the polling day in the city of Hyderabad for the GHMC elections.

If the people decide to go for a holiday then there could be a slump in the voting for the Municipal elections. This makes all the difference for all the political parties.

Pucca Telangana people may not go out of station and that will not make much of a difference for the TRS. It will make some difference for the BJP and the Janasena in particular.

4 days in a row, the people will be tempted to go from one place to the other. They will take the chance, and they may ignore the voting also. Even in Hyderabad if they move from one division to the other there could be a slump in the polling.

So it would be better for the political parties to make an appeal to the voters to stay back and participate in the polling. The holidays might mar the chances of one of the political parties.

Some of them might collect money given by the political parties and then move out of Hyderabad for the Holiday. So it will be a big task for the political parties to hold the voters back in Hyderabad for the polling day.
