Santoshi the wife of Col Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, and her relatives reached Hyderabad this morning and is staying at the Army guest house in Golkonda.
Santosh Babu resident of Suryapet died in the clashes that took place on the Indo-China border near Ladakh. Col Santosh babu mortal remains will come to Hakimpet Airport by this evening in an Army chopper and the final rites will take place in Suryapet his home town.
Minister Jagadish Reddy will accompany the dead body of Colonel to Surypaet and he will participate in the funeral tomorrow morning.
The final rites will be performed with Army and Telangana state Government Honours.
The Army will pay the respects here at Hakimpet this evening and hen the body will be shifted to Suryapet. Santosh has two children. CP Sajjanar was seen at the Shamshabad airport when Col Santosh wife arrived at the Shamshabad airport this morning.
Both Army officers and also the state Government officials are working on the arrangements of the funeral of Col Santosh Babu here in Suryapet.
