Mohammed Mahmood Ali,Minister for Home, Government of Telangana conducted a review Meeting with the Sri Ravi Guptha, Principal Secretary, Home, Sri Mahender reddy,DGP, Commissioners of Police, Sri Anjani Kumar(Hyderabad), Sri Mahesh M Bhagvat (Rachakonda) and Sri V.C.Sajjanar(Cyberabad) at his office at Lakdikapul, Hyderabad on the measures to be taken on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr (Ramzan) falling on coming Sunday/Monday depending upon the sight of the Moon. Authorities of GHMC,HMWS&SB are making all cleanliness and water supply arrangements on the eve of Eid.
He said, there is no other way except maintaining physical distance and hygiene to contain the spread of Corona Virus. Minister said that the Muslim People have observed the fasting and offered prayers(Namaz and Taravis) during the Holy Month of Ramzan by staying at Home in view of the Lockdown and Curfew in the State to contain spread of Corona Virus and cooperated with the Police and Government by following the guidelines given from time to time. He appealed all the muslim community people to continue the same spirit even during the Eid-ul-Fitr Festival and perform Eid Namaz at their Homes only due to Corona Virus Pandemic.
Home Minister said, it is the culture of the Muslims to exchange Eid wishes by hugging each other and offer Special Sweet Dish, “Sheer-Khurma” to relatives, friends and others on Eid, but, due to prevalence of Corona Virus and imposition of Lockdown and Curfew, he appeals to the people to maintain distance while exchanging Eid wishes and avoid gathering and offer Eid prayers at Home alone. Minister also said that there is no change in curfew timings(7 P.M to 7 A.M) and appeal people to complete the Eid related works and return their homes before the start of curfew timings on the Eid and cooperate with the Police and other agencies.He expressed his Eid wishes to the people.
