Cyberabad.
CP said with the T-consult app the tele medicine facility has come as a breather in the times of lockdown. With this T-Consult app Cyberabad Police Commissionerate will be the first in the country where all the police persons have access to telemedicine and e-doctor facility to Cyberabad Police. As part of this, various medical specialists will list out the time slots they will be available for tele-consultation and people will seek an appointment online. Following the tele consultation, the prescription will also be sent to the concerned patients online.e said T-Consult was already launched in four other districts – Narayanpet, Yadadri Bhongir, Mulugu & Medak and has proved effective in offering consultation to people in the times of lockdown.
With the guidelines of IT and Industries Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, IAS., has written to all District Collectors to consider implementing T-Consult, the telemedicine project. TITA has launched a pilot of the telemedicine project on April 8 at Makthal as a response to the lockdown conditions. Makthal became the first Mandal in the country where all its villages have access to telemedicine facilities. The effort is to offer medical consultations through a video interface. This has come handy to many due to the lockdown.
TITA trained all the 39 gram panchayat secretaries, who now act as the nodal officers for the T-Consult project. All the gram panchayat offices in Makthal Mandal have been made into nodal offices for the telemedicine project.
