Rajinikanth the Tamil superstar lashed out against the local Government to stop the liquor sales during the lockdown period as there is a chance that the Corona Virus cases might go up in the state.
He suggested that the Tamilnadu Government must find out other ways and means to fill the coffers. The other superstar KamalHassan who is also into politics also opposed the way the liquor was being sold in the state.
The court, on the other hand, has passed strictures against the Government for selling the liquor without maintaining the physical distance by the customers.
The Court also restricted the sale of bottles to a person. Kamlawas also one of the petitioners against the Government.
Here n the state of Andhra Pradesh, Jaganmohan Reddy is also drawing flak over the way liquor was sold and the prices have been raised by 70 per cent which is very abnormal.
KCR in Telangana has raised the prices by just 16 per cent and here liquor is not given if the customers don’t wear a mask and follow the physical distance.
But the reality is that the Central Government has permitted the state to sell the liquor which is a means to fill the coffers which have gone empty during the last two months period due to the lockdown.
