Gold Merchants have lost huge business because of the Corona Lockdown. Every year there used to sale o Gold and Gold Ornaments in a big way for the Akshaya Tritiya.
Aksha Triritiya is celebrated to appease God Lakshmi so that we will be financially happy.
The Lockdown has made people sit in their homes and the market is closed. The Gold merchants have lost crores of business. The Temples are also closed and the people have to do the Puja at Home.
The Central Government has relaxed the rules and announced that the registered shops can be opened. We do not know if the Gold shops have been opened or not.
It will take some time for the market to get stabilised. This a big blow to the economy.
We do not know when the markets would be revived and people will have money to buy gold.
The Government has stopped collection of rents for three months in the state of Telangana. The property tax has been deferred by two months. The sate has lost a huge revenue because of the lockdown.
