USA President Donald Trump and his wife the first lady of USA Melania paid rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at the Rajghat memorial this morning.
The Rajgahat area was heavily fortified as there were disturbances in Delhi in the name of CAA. The Trumps placed a wreath on the samadhi of Mahatam Gandhi and paid their respects.
The wreath was made of white flowers. They also showered rose petals on the Samadhi of Mahathma. They stood in silence for some time in front of the samadhi.
Trump has signed the register that is the vistos book here at the Rajghat Gandhi Memorial. They were honoured with a bust of Mahatma Gandhi by Harjeet Singh Puri here.
After paying the respects to Mahatma Trump will move to Hyderabad House for business and bilateral talks with PM Modi. Very crucial decisions will be taken and then there will be a joint press statement by the PM of India and the President of USA.
The expectations are very high for the USA and also India over the business deals. Yesterday Trump has made a point that Modi the PM is a tough negotiator.
