President of India Ramnath Kovind questioned Himachal Governor Dattatreya as to what was happening in Shimla. This was like an indirect question to Dattatreya as to what was he doing in Hyderabad.
Dattatreya even after being the Governor of Himachal Pradesh comes to Hyderabad in weekends and participates in many programs. Yesterday he participated in the program of Shantivanam launch being done by Ramachandra mission.
Dattatreya also reached Begumpet Airport for sending off the President of India. Surprised at the question d the President Kovind, Dattatreya said that Shimla was covered with dense fog and ice.
As per protocol Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and Governor Tamilisai are supposed to be there for sending off the President of India. But Dattatreya also joined them as he is also the Governor of one state.
This season the ice cover is very high Dattatreya informed President Kovind. Even as the Union Minister of labour, Dattatreya has spent more time in Hyderabad rather than touring other states and creating employment.
When he was Urban development minister also, Dattatreya was in Hyderabad most of the time. Even after becoming the Governor of Himachal Pradesh he is coming to Hyderabad regularly for the weekends and also the festivals.
It is better if Dattatreya spends the majority of the time in Himachal Pradesh rather than hovering around Hyderabad all the time.
