Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has reviewed the Palle Pragathi that is the village development program today here at Pragathi Bhavan. KCR said that there were reports that the local MLAs and public representatives were neglecting the program while the people were very much interested in the same.
More than half of the villages were clean and green with the effect of Palle Pragathi he opined. Clean and green apart from other development programs should be done in the villages with the help of people he said.
The people’s participation is a must in the activity of the development in the villages he said. People must be involved in all the development programs he suggested.
The MLAs and the local public representatives who are not active in the development of villages will be identified and taken to the task he warned. It is the primary duty of the lawmakers at the local level to motivate the people for clean and green apart from the development activities in the region he said.
Telangana is in the forefront in many activities and that it has to continue in the long run he opined. The officers of the Panchayati Raj development and also the district collectors must monitor the Palle Pragathi from time to time the Chief Minister suggested.
The people are enjoying the results of the Palle Pragathi he said.
