IT & Industries Minister KTR participated in the 5th Anniversary Celebrations of TS-iPASS (Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self Certification System) at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad.
In the past five years, TS iPASS succeeded in bringing an investment of Rs. 1.73 Lakh Crores to the state, creating employment opportunities up to 13.02 Lakhs.
Minister highlighted the government’s efforts in boosting the investment by developing sector-specific Industrial parks focusing on Pharma, Medical Devices, Aerospace & Defence, MSME, Textiles, Food Processing, among others. With the new industries coming into the state, the government succeeded in creating lakhs of employment opportunities, he added.
Minister KTR said, “We are committed to industrialization in Telangana. With the support and guidance of investors of Telangana, we will continue to prosper and will continue to bring in new reforms which will reduce corruption, improve ease of doing business and will lower the cost of doing business in Telangana.”
During the program, Ministers KTR and Malla Reddy presented Awards to the District collectors for the best performing districts and departments in the implementation of TS-iPASS in the past five years.
Minister KTR also presented a cheque of Rs. 305 crores (subsidy amount) to T-Pride (Telangana State Program for Rapid Incubation of Dalit Entrepreneurs) at the 5th Anniversary Celebrations of TS-iPASS.
On the occasion, Minister congratulated all the departments and officers associated with TSiPASS.
