Uddhav Thackeray the Chief Minister of Maharashtra visited Lata Mangeshkar the singer at breach candy hospital. She is suffering from Chest infection pneumonia according to the doctors attending on her.
She is 90 years old and has sung more than 30000 songs. She is called the nightingale of India. Her sister Asha Bhonsle stated that Lata was responding to the treatment was recovering slowly.
The doctors are of the opinion that it would take some time for the singer to recover fully. But she is responding to the treatment well. The fever has to come down and the chest infection must be cured.
She is taking treatment in the ICU. Uddhav Thackeray enquired about her health and also talked to the doctors attending on her. Doctors told Uddhav that the singer was responding to the treatment and should be alright soon.
