K Taraka Rama Rao the Minister for IT and Municipal administration said that he will take up the murder case of Priyanka Reddy and see to it that the justice is done.
It may be noted that Priyanka was raped and murdered at the Shamshabad toll gate. Preliminary investigation reveals that she was kidnapped by the lorry driver and cleaner in name of getting her scooter repaired.
The scooter was also found and the dead body of Priyanka was also located. KTR assured the family members of Priyanka that he would follow up the case and see to it that the culprits are booked and punished.
It is reported that KTR has already talked to the police over the issue and wanted the case to be resolved at the earliest. He also suggested that the ladies in trouble must call 100 at once if there was any problem or doubt regarding the behaviour of the unknown persons.
The murder created a lot of sensation in the city of Hyderabad and Cyberabad.
So far the police have taken 4 people into custody and the investigation is going on at a faster pace. The lorry driver and cleaner fooled the lady in the name of getting the puncture done for the scooty that she was using.
