AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy has honoured his favourite priest Ramana Deekhistuu who was the chief Priest for the TTD earlier and was sent out on retirement by the earlier Government.
It was Deekshitulu who did a homam for the sake of YSRC Government to power. Soon after the formation of the Government Deekshitulu met Jagan and requested him for the reappointment to the TTD.
But the latest is that most of the retired employees at a higher level including some priests were shown the door by the new TTD board. So taking this into account Jagan has appointed the favourite priest to the TTD as the Advisor Agama committee.
It is one of the advisor’s committees which advises the TTD board from time to time. All said and done Deekhitulu is back with the TTD with the help of Jagan. Deekshitlu also made complaints to the police and also the court that the earlier government has dug up a treasure from the Kitchen of TTD. But the courts could not save Deekshitulu form being shunted out.
Now he has entered the TTD again with the help of the Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. At the same time, Dollar Sesahadri even after retirement has got several extensions and remains as the OSD TTD.
