Society for Cyberabad Security Council in collaboration with Cyberabad Police is organizing a 30 hour non-stop Hackathon with the theme ‘Walk for Road Safety’ on the 19th of October, 2019. The Walkathon starts at 7.00 AM starting at the Gachibowli Stadium extending to the IIIT signal 2000 people are expected to participate in the Walkathon.
In continuation, to this, Society for Cyberabad Security Council in collaboration with Cyberabad Police is organizing a 30-hour non-top hackathon on Road Safety and Traffic Management on 19th and 20th of October, 2019. The Hackathon starts at 9.00 AM on 19th Oct at T-hub and ends at 5.00 PM on 20th October. Participants from Professionals, IT companies, Startups, Traffic volunteers, NGOs, and students. Startups from Hyderabad, Pune, Chandigarh, Bengaluru and Darbhanga in Bihar will be participating in this Hackathon.
About the Hackathon: With the phenomenal growth in the IT Corridor, Traffic Management and Allied issues pose a significant challenge with the existing resources. The Hackathon is designed to tap young minds to explore creative ideas for adaptable solutions for improving Road Safety and Traffic Management.
Specific challenges have been identified and listed under four major themes – Road Infra, Commuters Behavior, Transportation and Integrated Traffic Management(coordination between the Govt. Stake Holders).
