KCR the Chief Minister of Telangana has always been kind to the employees. Telangana Government is paying good salaries to the employees. No other Government is paying this kind of salaries. But the RTC employees have irked KCR by going to strike during the festival season.
That is the reason KCR has decided that the Government will not budge to the employees blackmailing politics. Even for Singareni employees he is giving the best of the salaries and also announced good bonus which no other Government did earlier.
The government will not bow down to the Union’s blackmail politics, “ the CM clarified.. He was in a review meeting yesterday at Pragathi Bhavan on the RTC strike.
RTC should earn profits. It should be made it into a profit-making organisation. People should not suffer under any circumstances. Besides the arrangments made by the RTC, there are 1,22,58,433 private vehicles of different types in the State. All these vehicles are used to transport people.
They are removing the transport problems to some extent. Professional skills of the RTC management should be utilised. Profits should also be made from the RTC Cargo service. In this competitive world, think innovatively and turn RTC into a profit-making organisation.
The Telangana State which is marching forward in many sectors and it should also march forward as far as the RTC is concerned. Do whatever is needed to achieve this. For me the most important priority item is to make the Telangana State a great one in the country and welfare of the people. Telangana should have a beautiful, excellent, efficient RTC.
As far as Hyderabad city is concerned, the government will bear the RTC losses. As on date about one crore people are travelling in 10400 buses. This facility will continue in future tool. Though average RTC employee is getting Rs 50,000 per month, there is no justification in demanding pay hike.
