Gongidi Sunitha the MLA from yadadri Bhongir wept in the Assembly. She was concerned about the fluorosis issue in the district and said that youngsters were dying in the area as they were unable to get the dialysis sone.
Majority of them are having Kidney issues and that they are unable to bear the expenditure for dialysis she explained. Making a statement in the Assembly Sunitha suggested for help from the Government.
She said that her father was also suffering due to kidney issues since last 14 years and they were having financial problems. She could not control herself and turned emotional talking about her father’s kidney problems.
She said that the Kidney problems were due to contaminated water and that they were having fluorosis in the district. Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy looked at Sunitha who was weeping and was uncontrollable as she talked about the plight of her father and the kidney issues in the district.
Some of the MLAs also saw her weeping. Sunitha said that some youngsters have died due to kidney issues. There were no dialysis centre in the district and they have to travel all the way to Hyderabad. She wanted the Government to come to the rescue of the kidney problem people in specific.
