Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has made it clear that the government is ready to give 28 per cent of the profits to the Employees of Sinagareni and solve all problems of the Singareni workers.
The 28 per cent amounts to more than a lakh of rupees per employee and this is more than 40000 rupees which was allotted last year. The amount will be released as Dasara Bonus.
Chief Minister has instructed Singareni CMD Sri Sridhar to convene a special meeting with MPs, MLAs and MLCs from Singareni area, discuss all the matters threadbare and suggest solutions.
KCR yesterday held a meeting in his Chambers in the Legislative Assembly here with Singareni region MLAs Sri Balka Suman, Sri Gandra Venkatramana Reddy, Sri Divakar Rao, Sri Vanama Venkateswarlu, Sri Durgam Chinnaiah, Sri Sandra Venkata Veeranna, Sri Rega Kantha Rao, Ms Hari Priya and Korukanti Chander. Singareni CMD Sri Sridhar, CM Principal Secretary Sri S Narsing Rao also participated in the meeting.
The Singareni area MLAS brought to the notice of the CM about the problems faced by the workers.
The CM assured them that all the problems would be solved. The MLAS urged the CM that as was done every year, for the financial year 2018-19 too, workers should be given a share in the profits of the company. For this, the CM has responded positively.
