Former Minister and Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad has died. He was in controversies and police were after him for some misappropriations in the state when he was the Speaker. There were allegations he was involved in several scams.
A police enquiry was going on into the allegations while he was earlier admitted to a hospital here for the heart attack. There were several complaints against him and his family members. Some TDP leaders said that it was political vendetta by the YSRC Government. He has a daughter and two sons.
Kodela Siva Prasad was a six-time MLA and worked in the cabinet of NTR and also Chandrababu Naidu.
He was very close to Chandrababu and worked as the speaker of the Legislative Assembly. Earlier some furniture was recovered from his shop which belonged to the Assembly.
Kodela along with the family members were booked in some cases and as a result, Kodela had health issues. He was admitted to a local corporate hospital for a heart problem. But he could not recover and died in the hospital. There are rumours that he died due to the stress . Former CM Chandrababu Naidu has expressed shock over the death of Kodela Siva prasad the senior leader in the TDP.
