Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said that the former Chief Minister of AP Chandrababu Naidu was not cooperative and he did not hear me in the sharing of Godavari waters.
KCR said that he tried to convince Babu several times, but he did not bother about the sharing of waters. But Jagan the new chief Minister is very cooperative and it is a win-win situation he stated.
The ENCs of both states will sit together again and finalise the sharing of waters of Godavari and Krishna. This time the water flowed well, but all the time it will not be the same he opined.
The water should not go waste into the oceans. Both the states must utilise the waters with proper understanding KCR said. We need water for Mahaboobnagar and also Nalogona KCR explained.
We could convince Maharashtra and also Andhra Pradesh now in sharing of the waters he explained. He said that if we think positive, the results will be positive. By convincing Maharashtra, we are getting around 570 TMC of water to Telangana. This is an achievement he stated.
We are thinking of permanent solutions and not easy things to do he explained. The water is travelling reverse for about 200 kilometres KCR said. But all said and done Singoor is not getting waters KCR said. But we will get water from Mallanasagar to Sindoor he stated.
100 kilometres Godavari is live he explained. This will be live for 365 days he assured. Will link Krishna and Godavari also from Khammam KCR said.
