Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya has been sworn in as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh today. BJP Telangana President Dr Laxman and some other leaders were presented here on the occasion in Himachal Pradesh.
Dattanna is the 27th Governor of Himachal Pradesh. He took the oath in Rajbahvan here in Shimla. Justice Dharam Chand Chowdhary administered the oath of secrecy with Dattatreya. Dattatreya read the oath in Hindi.
Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Jai Ram Thakur presented Dattatreya with a traditional Shimla cap here during the swearing-in ceremony. Union Minister of State for Home Kishan Reddy also graced occasion here during the Swearing-in ceremony of Dattatreya.
yesterday the CSO of the Governor took Dattaatreya and family from Hydrabad by way of special flight from Hyderabad. His assistant Kailash Nagesh flew by indigo flight to Chandigarh. From there he reached Himachal Pradesh.
Back in Hyderabad, there were celebrations that Dattanna has finally being honoured by the centre with the Governor’s post.
