The Khairatabad Ganesh which is 61 feet in height is all set for Nimajjan here in Hyderabad. Special cranes are being mounted for the Nimajjan in Tankbund. Minister Srinivas Yadav is supervising the arrangements for the same. One of the major hurdles was that there were overhead powerlines enroute.
Now they have been underground and there is no problem with the power lines. Special Band baja is also being arranged for the bada Ganesh here and people are coming in large number to see it.
Pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh are also coming to see the Ganesh here. The Minister is camping at the Necklace road office so that the Ganesh could be immersed by afternoon on 12 th so that it will not become a hurdle to other Ganeshas coming from other parts of the city.
Around 12000 police are on the job for the Ganesh immersion process. RSS chief Mohan Bhagawat is coming to Hyderabad for the event and he would address a public meeting here at the Mojamjahi market.
The Bhagayanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi is also making arrangements for the Nimajjan here in the city. Thousands of pilgrims are expected to participate in the Shoba Yatra and the GHMC is making arrangements for the water.
Some NGOs and other business houses are arranging the lemon rice en route for the people coming in procession.
