Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan reviewed the arrangements being made for the Ganesh Nimajjna process here at the Tankbund. The officials showed the place for the immersion process of the Bada Ganesh that is the Khairatabad Ganesh here on the banks of Hussain Sagar. The lake bed has been made deep so that the Ganesh idol of 61 feet dips in the water properly. Earlier the bada Ganesh was just dropped and he debris was picked up in vehicles and dumped elsewhere.
But this time the lake border was made deeper by removing all the debris and mud so that Ganesh goes to the bottom under the water. There were complains earlier that the Bada Ganesh Nimajjan was nod done properly.
Bonthu Rammohan told that drone technology was being used for the proper immersion process of the Bada Ganesh here in the city.
Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that earlier people used to talk about Mumbai procession and Lal BaghKa raj so on and so forth. But now people are talking about the Ganesh procession in Hyderabad and also the Bada Ganesh of Khiaratabad. Hyderabad is becoming very popular for Bonalu, Bathukammma as well as the Ganesh procession he said.
He assured that the procession will be done in a systematic manner and that the bundobust is in place. It would be monitored by drones and also the CC cameras. Police patrolling will also be there he said.
The procession or Shoba yatra of Ganesh will be held on 12th in the city of Hyderabad.
