Gopichand the coach of PV Sindhu the ace shuttler said that the war was just one side and she won the game in a befitting manner. Gopi was hopeful that she would win more medals by the end of her career.
Sindhu dedicated the gold medal to her coach and also the parents. She made India proud and especially the Telugu states. KCR the Chief Minister of Telangana complimented her for the achievement.
It was an attacking game dominated by Sindhu as per well-planned strategy. But she practised for it very hard and appreciated her dedication for the game. They adopted a different kind of strategy of the final game and it succeeded.
Even the semis game was planned in attacking manner and it suited Sindhu very well. From Bronze and Silver now Sindhu graduated to Gold which a very proud moment for the coach Gopichand.
Sindhu and her Coach Gopi met the sports minister Kiran in Delhi and he congratulated both of them. Earlier PM Modi also tweeted for Sindhu and appreciated her for the achievement.
