Jagan Mohan Reddy the CM of AP said that interlinking of the rivers is very much necessary for the development of agriculture in the region. He invited the businessmen and industrialists to invest in Andhra Pradesh in a big way.
The people’s expectations are high and that a lot has to be done to fulfil their aspirations. The Godavari and Krishna rivers will have to be interlinked he stated.
He wanted investment in Food processing and other industries. The ports have to be improved he said.
It will be a win-win situation for the businessmen here in the state and all cooperation would be extended he assured. Jagan assured that the youth here would be trained to suit the requirements of the industries that are being set up here in the future.
The Engineering students will be industry ready for the sake of businessmen he assured. Transparency will be the hallmark of this government he said. The coastline has to be used for developing the industries he suggested.
The program was called as diplomatic outreach. The idea was to invite big businesses into the state of Andhra Pradesh. Prominent industrialists participated in the event. Many businessmen from other states have also participated in the event. DGP Gowtham Sawang also attended the event.
