Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are experiencing heavy rains across the states. Hyderabad has been drenched with continuous rain since last 2 days and heavy to moderate rains are expected for the next 4 days.
Drainage overflows and wall collapses have been reported in some parts of the city. The GHMC has been working overnight to clear the chocked drains and also to clear the rainwater on the roads.
The water bodies are overflowing in many parts of the Telugu states. Traffic Jams have become a regular feature in the metros due to the water overflowing on the streets.
Most of the dams and inlets of water into the Telugu states are overflowing and the water is being diverted and also let out into the low lying areas. Some people are being shifted into temporary shelters from the low lying areas.
But the agriculturists in the Telugu states are very happy and have started the works. The new projects completed by the CM KCR are getting waters to the full extent.
The weather department is monitoring the low pressure from time to time and has predicted heavy to moderate rains in the next 4 days to come.
