After Kaleshwaram, Secretariat -Assembly buildings, now it is time for K Chandrasekhar Rao to think about cabinet expansion. The Cabinet expansion was put on hold due to the elections to Parliament and also the local bodies here in Telangana.

But now it is reported that Chief Minister KCR has started the exercise for Cabinet expansion. Three names are being heard prominently in the political corridors. K Taraka Rama Rao, T Harish Rao and Sabitha Indira Reddy are expected to join the cabinet it is reported. The Muhurtham is in July and the date is 6 according to the sources. This is because KCR likes number 6.

But nothing is confirmed as yet. These are speculations going around the political circles and Pragathi Bhavan. But the shocking news is that KCR is also contemplating to remove some ministers and also downgrade some ministers.

They could be the people who have failed in the last elections. Soon after the parliament reactions, there was a proposal to drop some ministers and change the portfolios, but taking the local bodies election into consideration, no changes were made.

Sabitha Indira Reddy has been waiting to join the cabinet as she worked for the TRS candidate in the parliament elections and the Congress candidate Vishweshwar Reddy was trounced in the process. Sabitha could also get the inclusion under the women quota in the cabinet. This has been a long pending demand in Telangana. Sabitha the popular as the Chevella Chellamma right from the YSR days is expecting a plum post in the KCR cabinet.

The former Minister from Tandur Mahendar Reddy is also expecting some post or the other. But if Sabitha gets, Mahendar may not be in the cabinet expansion. Two women are likely to get the berth in the KCRs cabinet this time.
