The talk of new Governors to AP or Telangana is growing by the day. There is news that the new Home Minister Amit Shah has decided to change the Governors. That is for sure.
The Governor of Telugu states ESL Narasimhan has met the Home Minister in this connection already. There are rumours that ESL Narasimhan will be limited to Telangana only. There is also a scope that Narasimhan might go home also.
The name of Sushma Swaraj the former minister was tweeted for Andhra Pradesh, but she wanted Maharashtra it is learnt. That was the reason the tweet was removed.
If Sushma gets Maharashtra, then Vidyasagar Rao the Governor of Maharashtra from Telangana might go to Andhra Pradesh. Vidyasagar Rao popular as Sagarji in the Political circles could be appointed for Telangana also. He is distantly related to K Chandrasekhar Rao the Chief Minister of Telangana.
There are also reports that Bandaru Dattatreya the senior man who is recovering from his knee surgery could be appointed for Andhra Pradesh. He is a respectable man in the Telugu states and is prepared to take up any of the states. All these changes will take some time. It could be after the parliament session also.
Bandaru Dattatreya was stripped of his ministry earlier and he did not get the seat for contesting the parliament elections. He is an RSS man, and Amit Shah has decided to reward him now. But nothing is confirmed as yet.
