The stage is set for the Telangana state formation day celebrations on June 2 here at the Public Gardens under the guidance of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The celebrations will be done in a grand manner in front of Jubilee hall here in Hyderabad.
Taking the scorching summer into serious account, Chief Minister KCR has suggested that the celebrations will begin at 9 am in the morning and will be completed by 10. 30 am. After that, there will be at home hosted by the Chief Secretary. This will be followed by Kavi Sammelan at 11 .The subject will be on the Telangana state formation, where the poets will speak and compete. There will be an award presentation for the outstanding poets in the evening. The chief Minister KCR will give away the awards. It has been decided that the school children will not take part in the celebrations to keep them away from the scorching heat of summer.
It is likely that the Chief Minister KCR might announce some more welfare schemes for the people of Telangana on the eve of the state formation day celebrations. Representatives of the TRS party from all the districts will be attending the event here.
The schedule
First, the Chief Minister will visit the Martyrs memorial and pay his respects before coming to the Nampally Public gardens for the celebrations.
1. Celebrations will begin at 9 am with the flag hoisting.
2. At home at 10.30 hosted by the Chief Secretary.
3. Kavi sammelan at 11 am in Jubilee Hall.
4. Awards presentation in the evening by KCR.
