Sonia Gandhi’s daughter Priyanka Gandhi has been appointed as the Congress General Secretary. But Priyanka’s politics has given a little strength to the entry. There is some excitement in the Congress cadre with her campaign. Priyanka is currently in charge of Uttar Pradesh. She has been campaigning across the country, along with Uttar Pradesh. Everyone is eagerly waiting for Priyanka to contest from the forthcoming general elections.
Priyanka Gandhi, while meeting Congress workers in Rae Bareli on Thursday, had said her mother was tense as she could not come to meet them herself, to which some workers asked her to contest from Rae Bareli instead.
Besides, Priyanka questioned why she should not contest from the same place from where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be contesting. If indeed Priyanka is contesting from Varanasi, the whole country will be excited to watch what’s going to happen.
