Telangana Assembly will discuss the Budget today. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao presented the budget with major allocations to agriculture and irrigation apart from the welfare of the people. The members will discuss the budget in detail.
The chief Minister KCR agreed to the suggestion of MLA Sreedahr Babu that more time should be given to the Congress and other members for the discussion.
KCR agreed with Sreedhar that there would be no time limit and that the members can discuss in detail. But he also cautioned the members of the opposition that they should not criticise and find fault all the time. The discussion should be in a positive direction and that there will be no time limit the CM suggested the speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.
On the other hand, MLA Padma Rao is all set to become the Deputy Speaker and he is going to file the nomination today. The MIM and the BJP have extended their support to Padma Rao it is reported. Padma Rao is all set to become the Deputy Speaker unanimously it looks like.
The Chief Minister is also strategising for the MLC elections. With the present numbers, the TRS will get only 4 seats, but KCR has given the 5th seat to MIM and for that, the party need 8 more MLAs to win the said 5th seat.
It has to be seen how the TRS will get the 5th man elected from the MIM.
