The lone BJP MLA from Telangana Raja Singh Demanded that Sania Mirza cannot be the brand ambassador for Telangana as she is the Bahu of Pakistan. He suggested to the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao she must be replaced with VVS Laxman, or Saina Nehwal as the Brand Ambassador for the state of Telangana.
It may be noted that KCR the CM of Telangana has appointed Sania Mirza as the Brand ambassador for Telangana as she has brought many laurels to the country and also Telangana.
But now she has married a Pakistani, Raja Singh is of the opinion that a Pakistani cannot continue as the brand ambassador for Telangana. This is the second time that the BJP has been demanding that Sania cannot be the brand ambassador. Earlier Dr Laxman objected to this now Raja Singh is against it as the Pakistani terrorists have killed 49 of our Jawans.
